It’s 8:30 am in a surf town along the Pacific ocean called Huntington Beach, California. Cycle Zombie Scotty Stopnick is pacing his garage like a Vietnam vet as the morning dew fades with each inch of sunrise. A day prior the parking lots of Long Beach lay victim to the Cycle Zombie’s lurking for deals and new wheels. Today is a new day, and a day in the life. Beyond the walls of Scotty’s mid century ranch sits a 1976 Chevy G10 van titled Agent Orange. Cold to the start within minutes she’s purring like a kitten. Boards in the back, a cooler, skateboard, and we are off. Minutes down the road is the beach but the trip get’s delayed when a homeless man sleeping on the curb is spotted. Agent Orange flips a turn creeping harder then a molester with a lifetimes supply of candy. The police roll up simultaneously as if they were us with crew cuts and a daily supply of donut diet about to examine the [...] |
