 | Living in Mallorca, Spain in 2005 I was working as a chef and had been doing so for many years. But the years in Spain gave me time to think about my life and coming to the conclusion that I wanted to change it. I came up with the idea to buy a camera and start shooting. So back in sweden I bought a camera and started taking snaps at my work, still in a restaurant kitchen. After a couple of months I decided to go « all in » with my photography and quit my job as a chef. This is a decision I have never regret! First years I did mostly food photography as it came natural to me, knowing food already. A couple of years ago I « found » surfing and it has made a great change in my life. Now I shoot when I´m on surf trips, using my old analog cameras a lot cause I think that special feeling it creates really fits the surf life style. My work is all about trying to share the feeling of that moment. Technical aspects is secondary, a shot out of focus can still be a great picture! My motto ? [...] |
